Dreaming about travelling in Denmark?

Imagine this: It’s freezing cold outside. You’re lying in warm, turquoise water, letting your eyes rest on the white winter landscape as the snow gently falls around you... taking a deep breath... exhaling. Can you picture it? And can you also sense what it must be like to lie right here, staring out into the white nothingness, just for a moment, while the contrast between cold and warmth recharges your body anew? I was here, at the spa hotel Comwell Kellers Park, for three chilly days in March. I came to participate in a course. Do you think I was lying here in the outdoor spa when I had free time? And do you think I had a winter adventure on top of that? I’ll almost let you find the answer yourself – I think the pictures speak for themselves. The water in the spa was wonderfully warm – even in the snow. Warm spa in the midst of winter cold Even though it’s freezing outside, you don’t have to feel cold when you’re here. After an icy walk in the park, you can warm yourself up with hot water, a spa, saunas, and steam baths. In fact, you can alternate between cold and warmth by first jumping into one of the spa's cold pools, then soothing your slightly shocked body with a calming warm bath. Or, you can step out onto the wooden terrace and let your body sink into the warm outdoor spa, even if it’s snowing. You’re sure to find warmth amid the cold. There is a beautiful view from one of the hotel's lounges overlooking the park and spa area. What is the Hotel like? Comwell Kellers Park is quite an enchanting building in itself. Constructed in the late 19th century, it was originally used as a treatment home for people with developmental disabilities. The intention behind its design was to create a space that radiated calm, harmony, and regularity, beautifully integrated with nature. You can truly feel this connection to nature through the many large windows that let light flood into the hotel. And even though the hotel is large and there are many corridors where you can get lost, there is a comforting tranquility that envelops the place. Aromatic essential oils waft from the spa area. Combined with the sound of slippers shuffling and people in bathrobes, exciting and intense course days seamlessly blend with the purest relaxation. The room The room I stayed in was spacious, with high ceilings. It featured enormous windows that allowed the snowy light to fill the otherwise slightly dark winter room. And the bed... what a delight it was to rest my body on Hästens beds, adorned with soft, fluffy duvets, and to close my eyes on the chosen down pillow I received at check-in. The room was sparsely yet classically designed in a lovely Scandinavian style. The rooms were soundproof and lightproof, perfect for sleeping in – if that’s what you desire. Standard Room at Hotel Kellers Park, Vejle How was the food? My room included a breakfast buffet. I chose not to sleep in and got up early so I could have breakfast before the restaurant filled with people. In fact, I was one of the first to arrive in the restaurant on my first morning at the hotel. The buffet was beautifully arranged, featuring many organic delicacies, fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, cheeses, homemade Nutella, cakes, delicious smoothies, juices, coffee, and tea. There were plenty of options, which I leisurely brought to my table. It was on this first night that it had snowed. With a view over the park and the snow gently falling, I enjoyed my first meal of the day in peace – before I went for my morning walk prior to the start of the course.
